Very grateful that Matter exists
Love these – likely buying more soon.Matter is the best protocol to buy, particularly if you want to keep your IoT communication within your local network. The advantage is more reliability , and lightning fast response when you control it. With a strong WiFi network, the activation response is as fast as using a physical switch, which is a breath of fresh air compared to vendor locked or cloud locked devices, that can take several hundred milliseconds , or even a couple seconds to register the command. But that doesn’t mean you CANT use Alexa and Google – you absolutely can. The point is you don’t HAVE to. I love manufacturers that are adopting this protocol. Bravo.

Water resistant – modified to WATERPROOF!
I bought a two pack of these and although they are pretty rugged on the outside, I was a bit concerned with the level of waterproofing at first glance, especially considering I live in lovely WA state where there’s more rain than sun lol… My solution, a TEARDOWN, of course! 🙂 so upon further investigation once opened up, it was clear to me that at least for my purposes, the waterproofing would be inadequate – not a problem though! I grabbed a tube of clear RTV silicone and got to work lathering up all the seams, screws and the buttons and even the pcb itself, along w anywhere else that looked like water could make it’s way in (I did all of this from the inside of the item, fyi, that way it’s much more tightly sealed and still looks stock from the outside)Once finished, I put it back together and tested her out and it works great! Happy to report it is now sufficiently waterproof (even with about 1 foot of full submersion! Though I wouldn’t recommend anyone attempting this while connected to power! I certainly did not and would not! Simply a test, that’s all!)All-in-all I think this is an awesome product, made even better now of course! And I’m sure I voided any warranty immediately by doing this but I don’t care, the product worked beforehand and works even better now….Please note, if you attempt to do something like this yourself, you do so at your own risk! I take no responsibility for what you may do with your products, I am solely reviewing mine and explaining the alterations necessary for it to work with MY needs.Have a great day!Cheers!

Great customer service
Purchased and installed 12/6/2021. Easy to program.Worked great. May 7, 2022 one stopped working. Tryed everything but nothing. Took a copy of my receipt sent it in an email to the company that mkes them. Within 24 hours they responded by email that I should receive a replacement by FedEx on May 16, 2022.Have nothing else to say!!!

Works great for 1 month then quits working.
Worked great for 1 month then quit. Lights flicker off and on and pool pump turns off and on. Basically an electrical issue. Of course return window closed. Buyers beware.

Easy Set up – way better than Feit Electric, easy integration with Alexa.
Buy these!! We had Feit electric which was much more difficult to set up. The Feit plugs were outdoors in south Texas, so the heat eventually got to them. No real issue there, nothing lasts forever. I always hated the Feit app, so decided to try these instead. The apps were great, and set up was quick and easy. Just follow the steps they recommend, and they worked great. You have to have your phone on a 2.3Ghz wifi network and in order to use with Alexa you have to install two apps which doesn’t make much sense, but if you just follow the stepwise directions, it is easy.
