Quite a nice lamp: better than anticipated
I’m glad I picked this floor lamp to add light to my relative’s reading area. It is much nicer than I expected for the price. It came in a small box with the lampshade rolled up, but very easy to assemble and looks very nice. It is pretty sturdy on its base, although putting it on carpet lessens that stability. The dimmer switch is easy to turn and gives great range of brightness. My only wish was that the switch were lower on the pole so that my relative could turn it on/off while seated, but they say it will work fine.

This is a high quality floor lamp
This lamp is great quality especially at its price point. The marble base makes it very study and I love the functionality of the dimmer option. The twist knob control is so much better than a pull chain, which my kids broke on my last floor lamp. It went together in minutes. I was worried about the lampshade, I’m not a fan of rolled up ones but this doesn’t look cheap. It even came with a lightbulb. Love it.

Well designed, easy to put together, but use a name brand bulb instead of the one in the kit.
Comes in a well designed kit and is relatively easy to set up. The base is marble and heavy enough to provide stability to the finished product. The shade is in the kit, but is folded up in a way that makes it easy to attach to the circular steel top and bottom shade supports. The light level is controlled by a variable knob near the top of the support column.My only comment is on the suitability of the light bulb that comes in the box. When the light has been on for a few hours it begins to flare up, then down, as if the bulb is causing an electrical hazard and a possible fire hazard.. I changed that bulb for one of slightly smaller output sold by GE and the electrical problems appear to be solved. For the price and with the correct bulb, it looks great and does the job for a very low price.

Classy and well-designed
Exactly what we needed. The dimming feature is smoothly controlled. Assembly is so easy that my young children did it for me without issues. The finish looks classy, the marble base is sturdy, and the lamp brings a pleasant glow. We have no overhead lighting in one particular room and purchased 4 lamps to brighten the room completely so that we can study comfortably in that room, but each lamp makes a great difference on its own.

Very Nice Lamp!
I was very surprised at how terrific this lamp turned out to be, considering the shade attaches with clips and velcro. First, the base is heavy, so it’s steady. Second, the light dims nicely. It lights the space well. When I’m ready to order another standing lamp, I’m hoping this one is still available, because it’s a great find.

Love This Lamp – Easy Setup & Gorgeous Design
This lamp is gorgeous and practical! The gold finish, linen shade, and marble base make it look high-end, and the dimmer switch lets me go from bright to cozy in seconds. It was super easy to set up, feels sturdy, and the included LED bulb is perfect. Honestly, it looks and works better than lamps I’ve paid twice as much for. A solid 10/10—I’m already thinking about getting another one!

Gorgeous, great quality
I liked this so much, I sold another lamp I had and replaced it with a second one of these.It is very easy to put together. The base is real marble. It’s very heavy and looks really good. The shade comes rolled up and you clip it onto two metal frames then the seam velcros together. It’s actually pretty clever for compact shipping and there’s less risk of the shade getting damaged in the box.The bulb that comes with this is I think 4000K or cooler. I bought more bulbs because I prefer 2700K. I tried a non dimmable bulb at first and they definitely do not work in this type of lamp, so make sure you get a dimmable bulb if you don’t use the provided one.The dimming knob is metal, not cheap feeling. There’s a click as you turn it on and the dimming is smooth.Love both of my lamps!

Not the finish that appears in the photos
Unfortunately the lamps that arrived were not like the listing photos. The gold appears to be a nice brushed gold but the lamps that arrived have a gold sparkle finish. I am sending them back 🙁
