Very decent 27″ QHD monitor for $150
Very happy with this purchase (VS2725-2K). So far, seems like a good value that I’m likely to be happy with for a long time.My use case is office-type work: Document viewing, text prep, web browsing. I have no concern for color accuracy or gaming-related aspects, and will probably never use the audio at all, so can’t comment on those features. But for office work, it’s been fine so far. This is also my first experiece with VA panel technology: All my other in-house monitors are IPS. Having used it for about a week now, I can say that I definitely prefer the VA’s higher contrast ratio and blacker blacks. The off-axis color shifting — often mentioned as one of the downsides of VA technology — is barely noticeable to me. Just not an issue for my use case at all. I don’t know why sellers seem to intentionally avoid mentioning the VA panel technology in the Amazon ad, because imo, based on my experience so far, it’s a nontrivial, positive difference from IPS. It seems to me an improvement in all respects, at least for my use case.Build quality: Reasonable for a $150 product.Ease of setup: Straightforward, no issues.Minor complaints:* The joystick-like parameter adjustment/power knob is kinda clownish, and not terribly easy to manipulate accurately. In partick, it’s annoyingly difficult to simply *turn off the display*, without first, y’know, unintentionally twiddling the contrast or backlight or some other parameter…. because in order to turn it off, you have to press the joystick/button very precisely directly inward. If you happen to press it in with even a slight offset to one side, you wind up bringing up the OSD for some parameter adjustment that you didn’t intend.* I wish the stand were a little more rigid, and left-right rotatable. It’s not terribly wobbly, but it does oscillate for a few seconds if you jar it. No biggie, just don’t jar it.* I sure wish they’d supply a full spec document and user manual, just for reference purposes. All they provide in the package is a “quick start guide” showing how to mount the panel to the stand. I was able to locate a full spec doc on one of the ‘manuals’ websites [can’t post the URL here], but jeesh, why not toss it into the box with the product or at least provide a URL? (And, btw, the ViewSonic website doesn’t even currently list VS2725-2K, for reasons unknown. Search the website… zero results.) I mean ok, 90% of buyers could care less about having a full spec document, but given the near-zero cost, can’t understand why they don’t just toss one into the box. Useful to have for future reference. All in all, considering the price vs. features and build quality, quite happy with it. Hope it holds up for many years.

Nice for the money and has plenty of adjustments to tweak it to suit your needs.
First off, the directions aren’t in English, but I easily found them online. The Default settings on this monitor are preset for 2K and would be great for gaming but that isn’t what I needed. The icons and text were very small and not very crisp. I needed a larger size screen because at 75 my sight isn’t what it was when I was young. After a few hours of exploring the settings, I dropped the resolution from 2560×1440 to 1920×1080 (used on my previous monitor) and increased the scale to 125%. Now my text is a bit larger, crisp, and the screen is completely filled without the columns on each side. Now the one thing that I already knew was terrible was the speakers. Yes, they are crap but the ones in my Samsung QN95d are as well! I already had Harmon Karman speakers with the bass kicker so I knew I would be using them. I like the fact that I can plug them into the back of the monitor instead of my PC tower. I also intend to use this when we are having power failures which happens often by casting TV/movies from my phone and using my solar battery bank for power. For the money, I am very happy, I just hope it has longevity! THe display was a little blue for me, but under Windows night light setting I was able to correct tit.

Great Monitor
I bought this monitor to use as a 2nd monitor to make data entry easier and faster with my genealogy research. The 27” size is perfect for the space I had for placement and viewing. Picture is sharp, bright and flicker-free. The joystick on the back is easy to use. Setup was fast and easy. I used the HDMI port on my PC as my data port was used by my main monitor. Cost was competitive and shipping was fast. I rate this a GOOD BUY!

Beautiful, Big & Bright Screen – Speakers Substandard
The monitor is big, bright and beautifully designed. Has HDMI and VGA ports. I connected it via HDMI so I could use the built in dual speakers but the sound quality is very tinny/trebley, no base. No adjustment that I could find. Also, the volume is low even when turned up to 100%. Had to use different speaker. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, I love it. Great resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. I can have many windows open at once without minimizing them. I do a lot of IT. This monitor is easy on the eyes when watching videos or browsing. Comes with an external power supply brick that plugs directly to AC. At first, I thought this was a negative but I’ve changed my mind. Could always buy another if it goes out without replacing the monitor. Also, the power cable is avbout half the size of my HDMI cable and is nice and long. Keeps my desk uncluttered. Great monitor for the money.

Perfect monitor
My old monitor started to fail so I looked for a new monitor as a replacement. This is the only one that met all of the criteria needed for full replacement. It’s 32″ it has 2 HDMI inputs, audio output, built in speakers, buttons on the front, it looks nice, and it’s from a known company with a history of making monitors. This Viewsonic monitor has all of that, and it’s higher resolution. Incredibly happy with my purchase, only downside is it wasn’t on prime.

Beautiful Colors, Easy Set Up.
Love the new monitor. My old one finally gave out and my work monitor failed to connect. Purchased this one instead and everything connected through my Dell docking station to 3 different computers. I have another 27 inch Dell gaming monitor and everything works together nicely with 3 screens showing up w/o issue. Love it. Colors are beautiful. Resolution as expected. No issues so far. Bezel is very similar to Dell monitor so unless you looks closely you can’t even tell that they are different monitors. Would buy again. If my Dell monitor goes, I will be buying ViewSonic.

Good color, bright display, and high resolution. If you’re coming from a 1080p screen you won’t regret this. I have two on my desk right now and they’re brilliant!
